Octopus Attacks!

Filthy Luker & Pedro Estrellas
2004

Filthy Luker & Pedro Estrellas’ world famous Giant Tentacles are attacking the Balloon Museum! The insuppressible Kraken has taken over the Pullman Yard and is breaking through the brickwork, “waving its arms in the air like it just don’t care!”. This ground-breaking design is one of the most recognisable inflatable artworks on the planet. Bursting onto the international street art scene in 2004 the Kraken and its many coloured o-spring have disrupted the artworld and city skylines around the Globe ever since. The 40ft tentacles, eerily buoyant, become wildly animated in the wind. But fear not, for this often misunderstood creature really just wants to give you a hug!
