Where is the Balloon Museum located?

The Balloon Museum is located at Escenario Puerta del Ángel, inside the Recinto Ferial de la Casa de Campo

The venue is easily accessible by public transport.

You can reach the event by bus, metro, or commuter train:

Bus: 31, 39, 65, 138 – Puerta del Ángel / Paseo de Extremadura stops

Train (Cercanías): C1, C10 – Príncipe Pío stop

Metro:
• M-6 (Grey Line) – Puerta del Ángel stop
• M-10 (Blue Line) – Príncipe Pío stop

From the metro and train stops, the venue can be reached with a short walk to the event entrance.

How can I book group visits?

Group visits require a minimum of 20 people and discounted rates are available.

Is the exhibition suitable for young children? From what age can unaccompanied minors enter?

The exhibition is suitable for all ages and admission is free for children up to 3 years old. No ticket or prior reservation is required for them. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note that the Balloon Museum installations are contemporary works of art and must be treated with care and respect. For this reason, we kindly ask parents and guardians to always supervise young children, helping them experience the visit as an opportunity to engage with art through curiosity, respect and a playful spirit, and to enjoy it as part of a shared space where adults and children discover new emotions together through art.

How long does a visit to the Balloon Museum take?

The length of the visit may vary depending on how much time you wish to spend at each installation. On average, the experience lasts approximately 1–1.5 hours.
Last entry is permitted up to one hour before closing time.

Is it possible to enter late compared to the purchased time?

The maximum tolerance with respect to the purchased entry time is 15 min.
If you arrive on time, entry is guaranteed. If you arrive at a different time, we cannot guarantee immediate access.
Please note that last entry is one hour before museum closing time, so visitors entering at that time can complete their visit.

Can I take photos?

Photos are allowed and encouraged! Commercial filming, press interviews, media recordings and all professional video equipment are prohibited without prior approval and accompaniment by a Balloon Museum representative.

Is parking available?

No, the Balloon Museum does not have a dedicated car park. We would like to inform our visitors that on-street parking near the venue is limited; we therefore recommend travelling by public transport or using alternatives to driving, such as bicycles, motorbikes, car-sharing schemes or taxis/ride-hailing services.

Accessible Parking (PRM)

If you need to access the venue by car to use one of our PRM parking spaces, please contact us by email at madrid@balloonmuseum.world at least 2 business days before your visit.

We will provide you with an access authorization letter for Casa de Campo and a PRM parking authorization, both of which are required to access the restricted area by vehicle.

Important: On the day of your visit, you must also display your official Blue Badge (or equivalent disabled parking permit), which is required to use the designated PRM parking space.

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online at the following link (recommended):

Alternatively, you can buy them directly at the Museum*, subject to availability at the time of your visit.

*Purchasing at the ticket office includes a €2.00 surcharge for all ticket categories, therefore we recommend buying online in advance.

What payment methods do you accept?

Balloon Museum accepts electronic payments only. Cash payments are not accepted.

What happens if I have purchased a ticket and cannot attend? Is a refund available?

Tickets are non-refundable. If you have purchased a ticket for a specific date and are unable to attend, it may be used from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, only after the original booking date, without making a new reservation or notifying the selected date.

Upon arrival, please go to the ticket office and present your unused ticket.

Precautions: Health and Safety

Some artworks are not recommended for individuals suffering from epilepsy, balance disorders and hearing problems, due to strobe lights, images and sounds that may alter sensory sensitivity.
However, access to the museum is at the visitor’s discretion. If necessary, it will be possible to follow an alternative route avoiding installations that may cause issues.
The balloons are made of liquid rubber latex; in case of latex allergy, we kindly ask you to evaluate your visit or inform our staff. For further information and clarification, you may write to:

We invite visitors to pay attention during the visit and to respect the displayed guidelines in order to fully enjoy the exhibition experience.

Attention: What is not allowed and prohibited items

It is forbidden to bring into the Museum objects which, due to their purpose or characteristics, represent a risk to the safety of people, artworks or the building, including:

o Objects exceeding the authorized dimensions of 42x30x20 cm;
o Folding chairs, except walking stick seats;
o Scooters, roller skates, skateboards;
o Firearms or electric impulse weapons, their ammunition or components;
o Bladed weapons defined in category D of decree no. 2013-700 of 30 July 2013 (including daggers, knives, clubs, knuckle-dusters, etc.);
o Tools, including box cutters, screwdrivers, hammers, pliers, etc;
o Aerosol generators (for example, dyes, paints and lacquers) containing substances that could damage artworks, buildings and/or safety equipment;
o Explosive, flammable or volatile substances;
o Any electric battery (bicycles, scooters, etc.)
o Illegal products and substances;
o Dangerous, foul-smelling, excessively heavy or bulky objects;

Is the Balloon Museum accessible to people with disabilities or reduced mobility?

The Museum is fully accessible to visitors with reduced mobility, including both manual and electric wheelchairs.

Visitors with disabilities are entitled to a reduced ticket, while their companion pays the standard admission fee.

A priority access lane is available for faster entry. In addition, a wheelchair can be requested free of charge at the on-site ticket office, subject to availability at the time of request.

Is the use of strollers allowed during the visit?

Yes, you are welcome to visit with a stroller. Alternatively, you may leave it in the designated stroller area located at the museum entrance. Please note that this area is unattended.

Can I eat in the Balloon Museum?

Eating and drinking are not allowed during the exhibition visit. However, at the end of the visit, our Balloon Bar café is available where food and beverages can be purchased.

Are pets allowed in the museum?

Yes, Balloon Museum is pet-friendly and warmly welcomes our four-legged friends. However, some rules must be respected: dogs must always be kept on a leash and, if medium or large-sized, must wear a muzzle. It is strictly forbidden to allow animals in the ball pit.
Please remember that Balloon Museum is an interactive museum and may be a stressful environment for your dog. Strobe lights, sounds, vibrations and balloons that may pop are elements present during the experience. Please make sure your four-legged friend can feel comfortable in this context before bringing them with you.

What if I lose something in the museum?

Visitors are advised to pay attention to personal belongings that may be lost in the ball pit, therefore we recommend setting aside personal items such as rings, bracelets, glasses, watches and mobile phones. The company is not responsible for any loss inside the museum.

Is there a cloakroom?

Yes, a paid cloakroom (€3.00) is available where you can leave personal belongings such as jackets, bags or small to medium-sized backpacks. Suitcases, large backpacks, trolleys, bicycles and scooters cannot be brought inside the museum nor left at the cloakroom

What is the Balloon Museum doing in terms of sustainability?

Balloon Museum is committed to following environmental sustainability policies. The installations are designed by international artists from the Pop movement and support recycling and sustainable energy. Our balloons are made with natural, renewable “rubber” combined with pigments, resulting in a colorful product that is 100% bio-based. At a time when the world faces the growing problem of plastic waste, it is important to know that our balloons are not made of plastic.

How do you keep Hyperstellar clean?

The ball pit is cleaned using three special machines that disinfect all the balls. The EF-WB01 ball cleaner is an all-in-one intelligent machine for automatic cleaning with ball suction, washing, UV disinfection and drying, allowing the balls to be used immediately after cleaning without waiting.
