Where is the Balloon Museum located?

The event takes place at The Fields Studios – Gate 1 – 2828 N. Pulaski Chicago, IL 60641

The only access to the exhibition and to the paid parking is from 2828 N Pulaski Rd, turning onto and continuing along Barski Lane.

How can I get there by public transport?

You can come by:
SHUTTLE: The Fields Studios provide a looping shuttle between the building and the Blue and Brown Lines.

METRA: Arrive 20 minutes earlier than Union Station. 4 blocks from the Metra stop.

BUS: The building is across the street from buses 53 & 76.

Is the exhibition suitable for a 3-year-old? From what age can children visit the exhibition independently?

The exhibition is suitable for all ages and admission is free for children up to three years old. Children up to 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

How long does a visit to the Balloon Museum take?

The visit lasts about an hour and a half. Keep in mind that the time in the ball pit (Hyperfeeling) is limited and coordinated with the timing of the presentation.

Can I take photos?

Yes, taking photos is not only allowed but strongly encouraged. Interviews with the press, commercial or media recordings, and the use of professional video equipment are not permitted without prior authorization and the supervision of a Balloon Museum representative.

Visitors are responsible for their personal belongings (such as phones, cameras, and other equipment), and the Balloon Museum cannot be held liable for any damage. Please note that some rooms feature laser installations that may damage phones, cameras, or similar devices.

What if I arrive after my reserved time?

You can arrive up to 15 minutes after your reserved time. If you are late, we cannot guarantee immediate entry.

If you have purchased a ticket for the last time slot, you must arrive on time. Otherwise, you can always come back from Monday to Friday (except on holidays).

Where can I buy tickets?

You can also buy them directly at the ticket counter if tickets are available for that time.

What payment methods do you accept?

The Balloon Museum is a cashless event. Cash payments will not be accepted.

What if I bought a ticket but cannot attend? Is it refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable. If you purchased a ticket and cannot attend, you can reuse the ticket from Monday to Friday (except on holidays).

I need help with my tickets. Who should I contact?

For any inquiries related to tickets purchased through Universe, please contact the Universe support team directly at support@universe.com.

You can reach out to Universe if:
• You can no longer attend on your selected date or time
• You have not received your tickets after purchase (please be sure to check your spam or junk folder first)
• You were charged more than once
• You accidentally purchased the wrong ticket type

The Universe support team is the main point of contact for all issues related to ticket orders, purchases, and ticket management.

What are the Art Lovers Sessions?

Art Lovers Sessions are dedicated 18+ time slots available every Wednesday from 6:00 PM and every Friday from 7:00 PM until the end of the exhibition.
During these sessions, admission is restricted to visitors aged 18 and over. Children and minors are not permitted to enter the exhibition during these time slots, even if accompanied by an adult.
Art Lovers Sessions offer the opportunity to experience the exhibition in a more relaxed and intimate atmosphere.
Only Adult and Reduced tickets are available for these sessions. Family, Child, and any other ticket categories are not valid during Art Lovers Sessions.
Please make sure to select a time slot outside of the Art Lovers Sessions if you are planning to visit with guests under the age of 18.

Can children attend the Art Lovers Sessions?

No. Art Lovers Sessions are reserved exclusively for visitors aged 18 and over. Guests under the age of 18 are not permitted to enter during these dedicated time slots, even if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Families with children are welcome to visit the exhibition during all regular opening hours outside of the Art Lovers Sessions.

Attention: Health and Safety

Some installations may not be suitable for people with epilepsy, balance disorders, or sensory sensitivities due to strobe lights, images, and sounds.

Ear protection is available at the ticket counter.

Is there private parking?

Balloon Museum has its own paid parking lot.

Is the Balloon Museum accessible for people with disabilities or mobility impairments? Are there any facilities?

Yes, the Balloon Museum is accessible to guests with disabilities or reduced mobility, and dedicated services are available to help ensure an enjoyable and comfortable experience.

Tickets for people with disabilities are available in the categories “Adult with Disability” and “Resident with Disability.” Admission for minors with disabilities is free of charge.

To support guests who are blind or visually impaired, a dedicated totem with a QR code is located at the entrance of each installation. By scanning the QR code, guests can access audio guides featuring descriptive and interpretive content for each artwork throughout the exhibition.

Are strollers and wheelchairs allowed?

Strollers and wheelchairs are allowed, but we do not provide storage.

A wheelchair available for our guests to use, and it is free of charge.

Can I eat and drink in the Balloon Museum?

It is not possible to eat and drink during the exhibition tour. However there is a cafeteria where you can buy food and drinks.

Are pets allowed in the museum?

Yes, Balloon Museum is pet-friendly and warmly welcomes our furry friends! However, some rules must be followed: dogs must always be kept on a leash, and large dogs must wear a muzzle. It is strictly forbidden to bring animals into the ball pit.

Please remember that Balloon Museum is an interactive museum and may be a stressful environment for your dog. Strobe lights, sounds, vibrations, and balloons that might pop are present during the experience. Ensure your furry friend feels comfortable in this setting before bringing them along.

What if I lose something in the museum?

For your safety! Watch your personal belongings. Items can get lost in the ball pit, so we recommend putting your personal items aside. The company is not responsible for lost items in the museum.

Is there a cloakroom?

Yes! There is a paid cloakroom where you can leave your items.

Are backpacks allowed?

Balloon Museum does not allow bags or backpacks larger than 8” x 5”, nor luggage of any kind, inside the venue.

Diaper bags (for guests attending with young children) and medically necessary bags are permitted but will be subject to a security check.

A paid cloakroom service is available on site, but we strongly encourage guests to leave large bags at home whenever possible.

What is the Balloon Museum doing in terms of sustainability?

The Balloon Museum strives for an environmentally friendly sustainability policy. The installations are designed by leading international artists from the Pop movement and support both recycling and sustainable energy. They are made from biodegradable and recyclable materials. All our balloons are made of rubber, a natural and renewable material. Natural latex is combined with pigments, resulting in a beautifully colorful and 100% organic product. The plastic waste pile isn’t shrinking, which is why it is important to know that our balloons are not made of plastic.

How do you keep Hyperfeeling clean?

Using three special machines that clean and disinfect all the balls. The EF-WB01 is an intelligent all-in-one machine that automatically vacuums, washes, disinfects with UV light, and dries the balls. This allows the balls to be reused immediately, without waiting.

How can I book group visits?

Group visits require a minimum of 20 people.
